Calling all Fantasy Footballers

If anyone is interested, I have listed my Draft Cheat Sheet for sale on ebay:

It's been awhile... (sung to the Staind tune)

Been a while since I posted an update... Lots going on right now.

We had back to school night last night and got to meet Ash's teacher. She seems nice. A lot of her friends are in her class so that is good... and bad. We'll see. I haven't seen anything about how SAGE is going to work, so hopefully we'll get info on that soon. I can't believe I have a 3rd grader. I'm so old...

Same ol' same ol' at work. Have to go in at 2:30 am tonight. Good times.

Gavin was sick last week/end. Not sure exactly what it was. Some kind of virus that had him running fevers, head to toe rash, and just pretty much with a bad disposition overall. I feel bad because I had a fishing trip to Table Rock planned (pic below) and went ahead and went because it seemed like he was on the rebound. Turns out he had a couple more cranky days in him and Sabrina had a rough weekend. Ash ended up getting sick one night as well. So, I don't win any awards for that weekend. At least everyone is doing well now.

Fishing was alright, a little slow since water temps were in the mid 80s all weekend. caught a few in the mornings and evenings. I ended up nabbing a 4+ pounder:

Maybe I can grab my second 5+ once fall comes and the water cools a bit.

Football is coming up soon. I spent some time the last couple of nights setting up my draft sheet. I finally got it just the way I want it, with value based draft numbers for both an 8 and 10 team league. It will also populate a page with my team as I am drafting... totally geeked out on this one. Spreadsheets are kind of a fun challenge for me. Draft is 9/1 for my only league so far. On the lookout for more, though.

Can't wait to see Cassell in red tomorrow. Hope he looks good. Also looking forward to the first peek at the 3-4 and Tyson Jackson.

I'm watching a little Tiger at the PGA champs right now... Here's hoping Vijay can come on strong tomorrow so that he and Tiger play together in the last round. Two strokes back right now.

Off topic: Been reading a lot of Facebook posts lately and it drives me abso-freakin-lutely insane how hard grammar and spelling is for most people on there. I'm no J-school hero or professional author, but come on people at least get the basics right... Here's your first homework assignment:

Two, too, and to are not the same... research them, commit them to memory, and use them right Go! (If you really want to impress the teacher, the next assignment will be there, their, and they're, feel free to work ahead) Now that I have that out of my system, I am sure everyone who reads this will be scrutinizing my post for every error. Please note that I do not proofread, so there may be errors here. They just won't be as flagrant as most of the rest of the Net.

I now declare this a proper Grammar Zone!

Guess that's all for now. Gonna try to grab some z's before the late night.

Lake time again

I can't wait. We are going to the lake this weekend. Hopefully the fish are biting. We'll try to get some wakeboarding and tubing in too. It won't be long and I will have to start working on teaching Ashlyn to ski. Ugghh... We are going to have to buy another boat soon. Which would take a lot of gas... and I will need a truck to pull it...

Anyone know where I can get a big pile of money?

Anyway... Last post I mentioned we were going to watch "Knowing." Turns out it was not quite as good as I expected. Go figure, Nick Cage made a disappointing movie. The last of his watched was "Ghost Rider." Well, watched isn't exactly the word. I only made it half way through, and I love comic books. I digress, "Knowing"... It's not that it was a horrible movie, in fact it was fairly interesting and somewhat suspenseful. The ending was just disappointing. I won't spoil it for those who haven't seen it, just be prepared.

School is starting in a couple of weeks and I can't believe we have a third grader. It's gonna get real busy again: skate nights, Big Burger nights, PTA meetings, dance, and whatever else Ash wants to get involved in. Oh well, back to Rescue me. Best show on TV right now. If you haven't watched it, check it out on FX Tuesday nights.

Movies...

So I am big movie fan. Since finishing my theatre in the basement, I have been watching a lot of movies. But, I am starting to run out of ideas. What is everyone watching? We are going to be watching "Knowing" here pretty quick. Hope it is as good as it looks.

Dinner time

So it's just going to be me and 5 kids for a bit tonight. Fun times. I think I will make a Chicken Margherita pizza for dinner and see how that comes out. I will post some pics of the fam soon since I haven't really done a formal introduction of myself. My wife and I were talking about me reviewing products on here today. So I might be posting some thoughts soon. It will probably be along the lines of fishing stuff, tech stuff, and movies. I am sure they will be sprinkled with stuff every family uses too. Why not? If I try something and like/dislike it, maybe it will save other people time.

Well, off to read about making pizza dough...

What's for lunch?

Nice first post, huh? I am going to have sooo many readers
